With several important and notable dates on the horizon - Labor Day,  9/11 anniversary, Patriot Day, VETERANS DAY, Election Day - the GCA encourages all cemeteries to inspect and have plans for replacing worn US Flags that you may be displaying at your cemetery.

American Cemetery Supplies  is a GCA Preferred Supplier, offering a wide selection of flags.  They also provide GCA members a 25% discount off of retail pricing as their company policy since 9/11.

Please inspect your flags, having a replacement on hand is a GCA suggested best practice, and do business with a GCA Preferred Supplier that support your association.  Don't let time slip away, act soon as inventory and demands during this time of year can have an impact on turn around time.

Suggested Community Service Event:  Use one of these notable dates to provide a flag retirement ceremony.  Many local scout troops, if contacted, will assist your cemetery with this patriotic task.  If you provide a flag retirement ceremony at your cemetery, take some photos and submit to your local news media, or notify them of your event for coverage.
